KrazyKritter’s Techo Blurbs invites people to Mozy on up for some online backup:
OK That’s a bit cheesy but this software is truly a great find. Mozy gives you the ability to backup your data (offsite) something we all should be doing but usually neglect. It gets even better this software is free!
So giddyap!

SayShea Web Studios had some good things to say about the wisdom of using online backup:
Mozy Remote Backup… is a secure and safe way to save your behind in the case of emergency! Even if you opt for the additional paid storage, $5 a month is nothing compared to the monetary losses you could face in the event of losing your important files and information.
That’s a small price to pay for peace of mind. Thanks for the review, SayShea Studios!

Imagine if your house were hit by lightning or there was a massive power failure. What would happen to your data? This is the essence of the post on eprofitnews.org about Mozy online backup.
Would that kill your business? In terms of risk management, what’s your recovery strategy in the event of total data loss?
One easy solution is Mozy, the company that provides a remote backup service at NO COST. My programmer son put me onto this one, and I love it.
To ensure your data is safely backed up at a secure remote location, just download and install Mozy…Yep, as you can tell…. this is another of my favorite utilities. Especially for the price.
Sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get a whole lot more. Thanks for the review!

Nickell.org poses an interesting question:
We know we SHOULD backup or important data, but it somehow gets put to the bottom of the TODO list.. it’s not glamorous, but there are times when you’d really be glad you did back it up. So if it is easy, secure, and FREE*? Why not…
A valid question, to be sure.
Secure offsite backup is a really good idea, but it usually comes with a high price, either in time invested or money. Then I discovered Mozy. Mozy is a free online backup, which even allows you to use your own text, picture, or other file to create a key so even they don’t have access to your data… They allow you to backup 2GB for free, which would take care of a lot of small business needs, or at least your financial data. If you have a lot of precious digital photos, 2GB might not be enough… in which case Mozy offers 30GB for very reasonable $5/month.
Looks like you’re out of excuses!
Thanks for the Mozy review.

Dmitry of Dmitry’s Review did a fairly extensive review of online backup services. Among his requirements: good price, security, continuous backup, versioning support, and can back up any type of file. He reviewed Carbonite, Orbitfiles, DataDepositBox, some other smaller services, and, of course, Mozy.
His conclusion?
Based on my requirements I’ve decided to go with Mozy even considering current limitations with Restore and NTFS encrypted files. Based on my interactions with their tech support I do believe they will fix these problems.
Note: As of this writing, these problems have indeed been rectified. Check it out! Thanks for the great review, Dmitry.

Toxicle.org, a blog with some lifehacks, a smattering of bizarre news stories, and general musings from the author, also included an awesome Mozy review:
Here’s what so great about this service
- 2GB of free, secure storage
- Open/locked file support
- Block-level differential backup
- 128-bit SSL support (to secure your data during transport)
- 448-bit Blowfish encryption (to secure your data on our server)
- Continuous or scheduled backup options
What are you waiting for? Get Mozy Remote Backup!
What more can we say?

The Yellow Subterfuge, “one paranoid android,” as the writer puts it, was pleasantly surprised by Mozy.
I tried Mozy, and it does everything that I was looking for. It quietly backs up my data during a scheduled time and its free. I just had to download the application, which needless to say is free of spyware and adware. You can also upgrade if you need more space for just $5 a month. Its a no-brainer.
We couldn’t agree more.

BestFreeApps.com wrote a review about Mozy outlining the strengths of the service. The author especially liked how simple Mozy made backing up online.
This really is a very simple “fire and forget” setup. Nobody likes backing up. Quite frankly, it’s boring, so the job needs to be very simple and require as little effort as possible, for both backing up and restoring the data. Mozy excels in both areas.
The interface is simplicity itself. You specify which directories/files you want backed up, and Mozy backs that data up securely offline at regular intervals. It only backs up the changes since the last backup (with versioning), keeping network traffic to a minimum.
Glowing praise for Mozy indeed. Thanks for the great Mozy Review, BestFreeApps!

Check out this post on Mozy on Uri JamJari. The author has some good vibes for Mozy, particularly the way it sits quietly in the system tray without sucking up valuable system resources:
It is a very quiet low impact program that works in the background. I have been using mozy for about a month now and I have barely even noticed it was there, save for the daily notice that one of the files I have changed or added has been backed up.
Cheers Mozy.
Glad you like our service.

Tommy Keswick reviewed Mozy on his MySpace blog. He then followed it up with a post about Mozy’s blog:
A little while ago I posted on my MySpace blog about Mozy, a cool little online backup company. I’ve been quite impressed by their service so far.
Well, the people who work there started a blog. The posts so far are funny, a tad sarcastic, and even informative.
Thanks for your words, Tommy. We hope you continue to love our service and our blog!
